The course teaches delegates to assess and manage dysphagia in children over 12 months of age. It does not teach the assessment and management of dysphagia in neonates.
Delegates who complete the work based learning on a caseload of neonates cannot be awarded a mark. They will be provided with a certificate of attendance on the course.
Delegates who have a mixed caseload of neonates and older children should ensure that their submission and that of their supervisor relates only to the work in children over 12 months.
