Background

We have been running post graduate paediatric/ALD dysphagia courses since 2000. We have changed the design of the course we run to encourage greater reflective practice and more self directed learning to meet the needs of the changing NHS. This new course has gained college registration.

The course will be a mixture of taught sessions and work based learning. The taught days will be a mixture of lecture, case presentation, demonstration, practical activity. There will then follow a period of work based learning and consolidation of skills when delegates will be required to complete a self directed learning programme (SDLP).
